I came across this really nice initiative by Anna from the blog Door Sixteen via Coco + Kelley and I really like the message. I know there are amazing deals from your most favorite giant retailers, but why not consider a couple of gifts for your loved ones by small businesses too? I found great things, and the nice thing about buying handmade is that one, you buy a unique gift, two, you get exceptional service, and three, you help others. Here are some ideas ;)
PS: More ideas on Door Sixteen, where the retailers have listed special promo codes for today ;)
