Outfits File: Navy and White

Happy Monday everyone, hope your weekend was great! It's been an incredibly busy month and I apologize for the disruptions in my regular posting schedule, I promise you I'm doing my best! Anyone else struggling in managing and balancing life, work, family, responsibilities....? My strategy in dealing with this so-called "balance" has been about doing a lot of planning, setting priorities,  and finding a way to take advantage of opportunities that present without neglecting work commitments. The way I see it is, a little bit of fun is better than none, so if I have to cut a trip short in order to get some things done, so be it. Given that this week is going to be a crazy busy one for me, I returned from my camp retreat a bit earlier than anticipated to get some much needed sleep (I haven't had much of that lately), and cleaning, laundry, and organizing done before the start of the new week. It gives me some peace of mind knowing that I'm diving into the week with everything in order and ready to tackle it, you know?

I have a fun event this Wednesday (one that I've been planning for some time) and I can't wait to share it with all of you, I hope it goes smoothly and I'm looking forward to it! I'm also headed to Mexico with my little one for some relaxing beach days with my cousins this Saturday, hence why this week will be a busy one. All I can think of right now is Let's Do This!

This look is all about classics and simple silhouettes, and relying on accessories to take them up a notch. If you're wearing a simple top and bottom combo, think of wearing a hat, a jacket over your shoulders, a pair of shoes with some flair or in contrasting color, a bold lipstick....these are just a few examples of how to spruce up the look ;)

WEARINGBoyfriend Tank (Looove this tank!! I'm wearing size Small) | Crop Jeans | Striped Bomber Jacket (super lightweight, perfect for Summer layering) | Suede Block Heel Sandals | Panama Hat (a good one for $16!!) | Tote | Sunglasses
